Here you can download the CCaLC Carbon Footprinting Tool V2.0 but prior to that please check the following system requirements:

System Requirements
The CCaLC Carbon Footprinting Tool V2.0 is an Excel-based application run by macros. It was designed and built using the English-version of Microsoft Excel 2003 for Windows XP. It may not run properly on non-English operating systems as well as on older versions of Excel or Windows. CCaLC is designed for use on PCs and is not suitable for use on Mac computers.

New CCaLC features
The following new and improved features are available in the new version of CCaLC:
  • New water footprinting tool
  • New data items added in the databases
  • Improved speed of navigation and calculation
  • Scenario comparisons for all environmental impacts and value added
  • Hot spot analysis for materials, energy, transport etc.
  • A facility to produce various reports as pdf or excel files
  • A facility to export graphs, tables and scenario comparisons to Excel, allowing user editing
  • Completely revised and restructured manual for easier reference.

For users of the previous versions (V1.0 and V1.1)
Studies created in the previous versions of CCaLC are fully compatible with CCaLC V2.0 and can be imported via the "Export data" or "Import data" options on the CCaLC menu bar. Consult the user manual for detailed instructions.
